The SDHmini-Ex is a compact, innovative, handheld dewpoint meter. Designed for quick, reliable spot-check measurements of trace moisture in gases and dry compressed air. It is perfect for industrial applications such as power utilities, natural gas exploration and production. Not to mention air treatment plants, processing of chemical and pharmaceutical products, general engineering and more.
This durable and robust hygrometer is fully self-contained and incorporates many features. Features such as signal conditioning circuitry, memory management, an on-board rechargeable battery, real time clock and full colour graphics LCD display. The SDHmini-Ex includes our moisture sensor, unique desiccant chamber assembly and AutoCal. This combination keeps the sensor dry between tests. Consequently, your handheld dewpoint meter is always ready to carry out rapid spot checks.
The SDHmini-Ex holds intrinsically safe certification to ATEX, IECEx and UL standards, as well as CE and UKCA approvals. This innovative handheld dewpoint meter is suitable for use in hazardous areas. The software interface is user-friendly, incorporating multiple menus, hot key combinations, information displays and control functions.
The SDHmini-Ex uses one of the most important and unique features of the SHAW system – AutoCal (automatic calibration). You can perform AutoCal in-situ, without the need for any special equipment or advanced operator training. The benefits include a reduction in downtime, minimised calibration costs and immediate verification of the system. We calibrate every trace moisture sensor. We supply a certificate of calibration traceable to the Humidity Standards at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) with each sensor.
With an accuracy of ± 2 °C (± 3.6 °F), we offer various measurement ranges from -100 °C to +20 °C (-148 °F to +68 °F) dewpoint. The instrument displays both primary and secondary readings on the LCD display. Choose from various user selectable engineering units – °C, °F, ppm(V), ppb(V), ppm(W), g/m³, lb/MMSCF.
An intuitive menu structure and 10 language options, powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that gives in excess of 150 hours logging capability. Making this the perfect portable handheld dewpoint meter.
